Salawat: Demolishing Sins

Hawzah News Agency- Imam Ridha (pbuh) said:

مَنْ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ عَلَى مَا يُكَفِّرُ بِهِ ذُنُوبَهُ فَلْيُكْثِرْ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَإِنَّهَا تَهْدِمُ الذُّنُوبَ هَدْماً.

Whoever is not able to do that which expiates his sins, shall increase his prayers (salawat) upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, for indeed, those prayers demolish sins completely.
